Audio Sys Ready (08-2024 W4)


It took a while, but the audio-management sys is more than ready to be used in the full game! It was a bit tough, setting up the bindings to make certain things work with UVS. In particular was the implementation of two custom Units: PlayAudio and FadeVolume. 





The main issue was making the Finished exit ports work as intended. Even after someone kindly wrote me an example on making delayed ports work, I made some mistakes… Ones that slowed things down a fair bit. But there is a silver lining! The whole process helped me find and fix bugs that the system as a whole had. As for the UI, that was also improved.




The sliders' values will be shown to their right, with said values being alterable in increments. At the time of this writing, the increments will be of 10. This means that the volume values can all be cleanly divided by that number. 50, 60, 70, etc. As opposed to 15, 28, 32, etc.
